Cyber Mesa Voice Service with DSL
Cyber Mesa maintains telecom equipment in a number of central offices in New Mexico. We pay the local carrier (Qwest or Windstream) for access to the lines from the central office to a given residence or business, and at the central office those lines connect to our equipment and network. We have our own voice switch in Albuquerque, where we interface with the public telephone network. We offer the usual calling features. Our long distance rate of 4.9¢ per minute in-state as well as out-of-state competes favorably with other providers.
We excel at data, having started as an Internet Service Provider. We maintain redundant fiber optic connections to the Internet backbone. Our DSL equipment actually goes farther than that of other carriers, so sometimes we can provide DSL when they cannot.
If you opt for our Voice/DSL service you can keep your existing phone number. You can even keep your third-party long distance service, if beneficial.
