The instructions that follow assume that you have at least Version 4.0 of Netscape Navigator or Communicator. To check your version open Netscape and, from the menu bar at the top, click on Help. From the Help list select the last entry (e.g., About Communicator). If your Netscape is older than Version 4.0, then this is an excellent opportunity to download a newer copy. If you prefer Navigator to the more extensive Communicator (or have Windows 3.1), then proceed to the Navigator download site. If, on the other hand, you want all of the bells and whistles, then go to the Communicator download site. Follow the directions from Netscape. From within Netscape go to the menu bar and click on Edit, then select Preferences. In the list on the left open the Mail and Newsgroups category by clicking on the "+" symbol. From the expanded list highlight Mail Servers. If there is more than one Incoming Mail Server, highlight the one you want to use to dial into Cyber Mesa. Then click on the Edit button on the right.
The Mail Server Properties window will appear (see below). For the Server Name type in mail.cybermesa.com. Then click OK. You will return to the main Preferences window (see above). In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server box type mail.cybermesa.com.
If you do not use roadrunner.com for your email address, then click OK, and you're done. If your current email address utilizes roadrunner.com, then from the main Preferences window you should click on Identity in the categories on the left (see upper illustration). Pick a new domain for your email address from the following list and update the Email address box. When done, click on OK.
