If you reach this page, then your browser does not support Javascript, an interactive programming language that we have used to design our forms. Alternately, you may just need to turn it on in your browser settings.

Netscape Navigator

Netscape began to support Javascript with Version 3. If you have Version 3 or better, then you need to check the Advanced settings.

To check which version of Netscape is loaded on your computer, open Navigator and click on Help from the Menu bar across the top. When the menu drops down select the bottom item, About Communicator, or About Navigator. The page that appears will list the version number.

If you have Version 3 or better, then go to your Netscape Preferences. With Netscape 4.7, for example, click Edit on the Menu bar, and Preferences is the last item on the drop-down menu. When the page appears click on Advanced, and make sure that "Enable Javascript" is checked.

If it turns out that you have a version older that Netscape 3.0, we would recommend that you take this opportunity to download a more recent version. Without Javascript, you are missing much of the new interaction capabilities of the Web. You can go to the Netscape site from here and download either Communicator, including Composer and Messenger, or Navigator only, which conserves space on your hard drive (scroll down to the "Navigator 4.08 Stand Alone" heading).
Internet Explorer

If you have Internet Explorer Version 4.0 or better, then you have Javascript capability, though you probably need to activate it

To check which version of Explorer is loaded on your computer, open Internet Explorer and click on Help from the Menu bar across the top. When the menu drops down select the bottom item, About Internet Explorer. The page that appears will list the version number.

If you have Version 4 or better, then go to your Internet Options. If you have Explorer 5.0, for example, click on Tools on the Menu bar, and Internet Options is the last item on the drop-down menu. When the window opens, click on the Security tab and then on the Custom Level button. Scroll down to the Java heading and select Medium or Low "safety".

If your Internet Explorer is older than Version 4.0, we would encourage you to download a newer version. Without Javascript, you are missing much of the new interaction capabilities of the Web. Please take a moment to visit the Microsoft download area and update your Windows or Macintosh Internet Explorer.
