Medical Interpreting at UNMH:
Guadalupe Reyes is Manager of the Interpreter Language Services Department at University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH), a position she has held for the past three years. She obtained this position after having progressed through the positions of Clerk, Interpreter, and Supervisor. She has completed the Bridging the Gap and Training of Trainers courses provided by The Cross Cultural Healthcare Program. She has also become a trainer for the Bridging the Gap program as well as a Staff Development and Education Specialist where she assists with training and education regarding Interpreter Services in order to promote the Medical Interpreter profession.
